Job description
We are seeking a talented Head Pastry Chef to head up the department.
This restaurant caterers for up to 450 covers per day serving Modern French and International cuisine, it boast countless accolades and receives
countless favorable reviews in local, national and industry press and is in the top one percent of Hungary's best restaurants.
As Head Pastry Chef you will be responsible for a team of 5 pastry chefs and 2 bakers, ensuring the production is organized, efficient.
Also, ensuring their development is enhanced in as many ways as possible to maintain low food cost, accurate recipe cards and
consistent quality products. The Pastry chef along with the Executive Chef, will be creating regular changing menus and manage the
production for a retail Pastry and Bakery shop. You will be reporting directly to the Executive Chef and you will be responsible for
training the junior pastry chefs.

Skill requirements
Job Requirements: To qualify as an ideal candidate for this position you must have vast experience with traditional French / Central European
pastries and Breads.
You must demonstrate a superior talent at being able to create outstanding pastry related items, be creative and up to date with the latest food trends
with fresh innovative ideas. You must be comfortable working under pressure in a fast paced environment which is renowned for producing excellent
cuisine consistently. You will be an effective team leader and communicator, be able to work well on your own initiative and have a creative approach
to menu planning.
